Serving Canadian businesses remotely from Islamabad
Timeline Digital is a custom software development company headquartered in Islamabad, Pakistan, that builds ERP, CRM, workflow, web and mobile systems for Canadian businesses. We have no office in Canada: the work is delivered remotely, with video meetings scheduled in your working hours, and the source code is transferred to you on full payment.
Most Canadian companies that need custom software have outgrown a mix of spreadsheets, email approvals and SaaS tools that each hold part of the picture. We replace that with one system built around how your organization runs, and before you commit to the full project you test 2 to 3 key modules as working software, free of charge.
Pakistan (UTC+5) is 9 to 13 hours ahead of Canada, from Toronto to Vancouver. Video meetings are scheduled in your working hours.
Most teams are not short of effort. They are held back by tools that do not fit, so we start with the problem and then choose the system that fixes it.
Operations run on spreadsheets that each department updates separately
A custom ERP puts inventory, purchasing, finance and reporting in one system, with role-based access for each team. Custom ERP development
Branch and warehouse stock in different provinces never matches the books
Multi-location inventory with transfers and reorder levels, connected to accounting so each figure is entered once. Systems and API integration
Approvals happen in email threads and text messages, so nobody can see what is stuck
Workflow software routes each request to the right approver and keeps an audit history of every decision. Workflow automation
Sales, service and billing each keep their own customer list
A custom CRM gives every team the same customer record, pipeline and follow-up tasks. CRM development
Invoices and GST/HST, PST or QST figures are pulled together by hand
Invoicing and finance modules connected to your accounting package, with the tax rules for each province set up with your accountant. ERP integration
Field crews record work on paper and the office re-types it
A mobile app for field staff that works offline, captures photos and signatures, and syncs with the office system. Mobile app development
A legacy application that only one person can safely change
Staged modernization moves users and data to a supported web platform without a risky big-bang cutover. Legacy modernization
Month-end reports are assembled by hand, so decisions wait on the numbers
Dashboards read live data from your systems and show each role the figures it needs. Web application development
Each service is built around your workflow, with role-based access, reporting and support after launch.

Learn moreWe serve every province remotely from our Islamabad headquarters; we have no office or staff in Canada. The software work is the same across the country. What changes by city is the kind of organization, the time difference and, in Quebec, the language of the people using the system.
Toronto is Canada’s largest city and its financial centre, and the Greater Toronto Area adds a large base of distribution, logistics and professional-services firms. Typical systems are ERP and inventory across several sites, CRM for sales and service teams, and client portals. Pakistan is 9 to 10 hours ahead of Eastern Time, so meetings are booked in your morning and work finished in Islamabad is ready when your day starts.
Vancouver’s port makes trade, import and logistics a large part of its business base, alongside real estate and technology companies. Typical needs are import costing, multi-warehouse inventory and shipment tracking. Pakistan is 12 to 13 hours ahead of Pacific Time, so there is no shared office time: meetings are scheduled by agreement and day-to-day questions are handled in writing.
Calgary is home to many energy companies and the contractors, suppliers and service firms around them, as well as agriculture and transport businesses across Alberta. Typical needs are job costing, equipment and maintenance records, and offline field-service apps. Pakistan is 11 to 12 hours ahead of Mountain Time, so the rhythm is written updates plus scheduled video calls.
In Quebec, French is the language many users work in. Our project communication is in English; if your users need French screens and documents, we build them with wording you provide or approve. Quebec’s Charter of the French Language, as amended by Bill 96, sets rules on French in the workplace and in business documents, and Law 25 adds privacy duties; whether they apply to your system is for you and your advisers to confirm. We do not claim compliance with either. Montreal is on Eastern Time, 9 to 10 hours behind Pakistan.
Why Timeline Digital
Senior engineering capacity is hard to hire, and a single freelancer is a risk for a system your business depends on. We work as one accountable delivery team: a written plan before development, a named lead for your project, and working software you can test before you commit to the full build.
The company has 1,200+ developers and 85+ management professionals, including group-company employees, and has built software since 2013. That depth means a project does not stall when someone is on leave, and business analysis, QA and support sit on the same team as the engineers who build your system.
We agree the modules, user roles, reports and integrations in writing before building, so scope and priorities are clear to both sides.
One project lead and one technical lead stay with your project from planning to support, so you are not re-explaining your business to new people.
Our office day ends early in the Canadian morning. We do not promise live overlap we cannot staff: meetings are booked in your working hours, and progress stays visible on a shared board between calls.
We document where data is stored and who can access it from where, so you can assess the arrangement under PIPEDA and any provincial law. Timeline Digital holds no certifications and does not claim compliance on your behalf.
Source code and project documentation are transferred to you on full payment, as set out in the agreement, and hosting accounts can sit in your company name.
The company has 1,200+ developers and 85+ management professionals, including group-company employees, so leave, illness or a change in scope does not stall the work.
Before you commit to the full project, we build 2 to 3 of your key modules as working software, free of charge. Your team tests the pilot, and the full build starts only after you approve it.

Timeline Digital holds no certifications (such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2). We build with these requirements in mind; compliance is confirmed per project with you and your advisers. Our security and data protection page sets out how we handle data.
Ways to work with us
Pick the model that fits. Every model starts with understanding how your business works today.
A project with a free pilot: we build 2 to 3 key modules first, and the full project starts only after you approve them
A dedicated team: engineers with a technical lead and a project lead, working inside your tools and review process
Extra engineers for your existing team, working to your coding standards and release process
A scoping engagement that turns a rough idea into a written plan of modules, roles, reports and integrations
No. Timeline Digital’s only office is its headquarters in Islamabad, Pakistan, and we have no staff based in Canada. We serve businesses in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal and elsewhere remotely, with video meetings in your working hours; on-site visits happen only when agreed in the contract.
Pakistan is 9 to 10 hours ahead of Toronto and Montreal, 11 to 12 hours ahead of Calgary and 12 to 13 hours ahead of Vancouver. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 Pakistan time, which ends early in the Canadian morning. We book video meetings in your working hours in advance, keep day-to-day questions in writing, and share a staging link so you can check progress between calls.
A local agency is easier to meet in person and shares your hours, and for some projects that matters most. What we offer instead is depth and a way to judge the work before you commit: a large delivery team, a written plan, a named lead, and a free pilot of 2 to 3 key modules. If on-site work is essential, we will say so and suggest pairing us with a local contractor.
Timeline Digital holds no certifications and does not claim PIPEDA compliance on your behalf. Under PIPEDA, your organization remains accountable for personal information it transfers to a supplier for processing, including one outside Canada. We support that with role-based access, audit logs, encryption and retention rules, a written data agreement, and a clear record of where data is stored and who can reach it.
Yes. Screens, emails and documents can be built in French and English, with the French wording provided or approved by your team; our own project communication is in English. Quebec’s Charter of the French Language, as amended by Bill 96, has rules about French in the workplace and in business documents. We do not claim compliance with it: whether and how it applies to your system is for you and your advisers to confirm.
Hosting is your decision. We can deploy to a Canadian cloud region or your own infrastructure, with the accounts in your company name, and document who can access the data from where.
Before the full project, we build 2 to 3 of your key modules as working software, free of charge. For an ERP that might be purchasing and inventory; for a CRM, the pipeline and customer record. Your team tests the pilot, and the full build starts only after you approve it.
Look at how the company plans before it builds, who will actually do the work, how communication across time zones is handled, how privacy questions are answered, and who owns the code at the end. Ask to see working software early. That is why our projects start with a free pilot, so you judge real software before committing to the full project.
Tell us how your business works today. We sign an NDA before you share details, agree a written plan, and build 2 to 3 key modules as a free pilot before you commit to the full project.
