Timeline Digital is a custom software development company founded in 2013 and headquartered in Islamabad. We build ERP, web portal, fleet and school systems for Jhelum organisations, transporters, traders and schools, delivered remotely from our Islamabad headquarters. Before you commit to the full project, we build 2 to 3 of your key modules as a free pilot for your team to test.

Why businesses in Jhelum build custom software

Jhelum is in Punjab, on the Jhelum river and the GT Road, between Rawalpindi and Gujrat. The buyers we write for here include organisations that want an online portal for applications, members or customers; transporters and traders whose goods and vehicles move along the GT Road; schools that want admissions and results online; and families running a business or property from overseas. Underneath, each needs the same foundation: one database instead of files on several computers, clear rules on who can see and approve what, and reports that do not depend on one person's spreadsheet. A portal on the front and an ERP behind it can provide that.

Software we build for Jhelum businesses

Online application and member portal

Applicants or members fill in forms online, upload documents and follow their status without visiting the office. Staff review each case in a queue, with approvals passed between departments according to their roles. Email or SMS notifications go out at each step. The portal is built with Next.js, and every decision keeps an audit history showing who approved what and when.

ERP for organisations with several departments

Purchase requests, approvals, store issues, staff records and accounts entries move through one system instead of paper files and email chains. Each department works in its own screens, while management sees spending against budget heads and pending approvals in one dashboard. Where you already use an accounting tool, the ERP can pass entries to it rather than replace it.

Fleet, trip and bilty management for transporters

Each trip is recorded with vehicle, driver, route, bilty numbers, freight and advances. Drivers log fuel, tolls and repairs from a phone app, and maintenance is scheduled by date or reading. Freight owed by each customer, and trips not yet billed, appear in one list, so the office knows which parties to chase before the next load is booked.

Reporting app for owners overseas

For a family business or rental property managed from abroad, the app shows daily sales, rent received, expenses and bank deposits, with photos of receipts attached. Expenses above an agreed limit wait for the owner's approval on the phone. Relatives or managers at home enter the figures, and nothing is changed without leaving a record of who did it.

School admissions and results portal

Parents apply online, upload documents and pay the admission fee through the bank, while the school reviews applications in one list. Once students are enrolled, teachers enter marks, and results are published to a parent login instead of being collected on paper. Notices and date sheets go to parents through the same portal.

How we work

How we build custom software for Jhelum businesses

Custom software built around the way your business works. Every Jhelum project follows the same five steps, and you test our work in a pilot of your most important modules before the full build.

  1. Step 1: Understand

We learn how your business works.

Your requirements, workflow, challenges and goals, understood before anything is recommended.

  2. Step 2: Plan

We design the right solution around your workflow.

Modules, workflows, roles, approvals, reports and integrations, agreed before development.

  3. Step 3: Select Technology

    Choose the right technical foundation.

Technology options matched to your users, security, budget and growth, not one fixed stack.

  4. Free pilot

    Step 4: Pilot

    Step 5: Build & Scale

From approved pilot to complete digital system.

Full development, testing, deployment, training and support, built to grow with you.

Why work with Timeline Digital from Jhelum

One login, different permissions

Applicants, staff, managers and directors each see only what their role allows. That keeps sensitive records protected while letting work move without printing and carrying files between desks.

Approvals from wherever you are

Directors travelling and owners living abroad can approve requests and expenses from a phone, and every approval is time-stamped in the audit history.

Delivered from Islamabad, visits by agreement

We serve Jhelum clients remotely from our Islamabad headquarters through video calls, screen sharing and WhatsApp. Distance does not change the working model: an on-site visit happens only when the contract includes it.

Portal and ERP share one database

What an applicant or customer submits online lands directly in the back-office system, so staff never re-enter it. Web and Flutter mobile apps read from the same records.

  • Only office in G-11 Markaz, Islamabad; Jhelum is served remotely
  • 2 to 3 key modules delivered as a free pilot before you sign up for the full build
  • Role-based access and audit history
  • Source code transferred to you on full payment, as set out in the agreement
  • Web portals and Flutter mobile apps

What a custom system could do for Jhelum businesses

Example workflows for common types of business. They show what a system can do; they are not client case studies.

Membership organisation

A membership organisation could take applications and renewals online, route each case to the right officer for approval and let members follow their status.

Goods transporter

A goods transporter could record trips, bilty numbers and driver expenses from a phone and see unbilled trips and freight owed by each customer.

Family business run from abroad

A family business run from abroad could have relatives at home enter sales and expenses with receipt photos while the owner approves larger payments from a phone.

Frequently asked questions

Jhelum is not far from Islamabad. Will you meet us in person?

Usually not in person. Even for towns close to Islamabad, our standard way of working is remote: our only office is in G-11 Markaz, Islamabad, and Jhelum clients are served from there. Sessions about your forms, approvals and reports run as video calls where your staff share their screens, and progress is shown on working screens rather than slides. A meeting on your premises, for example for training or go-live, happens when it is agreed in the contract.

What could a Jhelum organisation test in the free pilot before committing?

Organisations usually choose the online application form, the approval queue and one management report, since those show whether the whole flow works. Before you commit to the full project, we build 2 to 3 of your key modules as working software, free of charge. Your staff process real or sample applications through it, and the full build starts only after you approve the pilot.

Can applicants apply online and follow the status of their application?

Yes. Applicants create a login, fill in the form, upload documents and submit. Each application gets a reference number and moves through the steps you define, such as document check, review and final approval. Applicants see the current step in their account and receive an SMS or email when it changes. Staff see a queue of pending cases and cannot skip steps their role does not allow.

Can our drivers record fuel and trip expenses on a phone?

Yes. Drivers use a simple Flutter app to record fuel, tolls, repairs and other trip costs, with a photo of the receipt. Entries save on the phone when there is no signal and upload once the connection returns. The office sees each trip's expenses next to its freight and driver advance, so the trip account can be settled without waiting for a bundle of paper slips.

Can the portal feed the ERP so data is entered only once?

Yes. The portal and the ERP are built on the same database, so a form submitted online becomes a record in the back office straight away. Approvals, fees, purchases and staff actions then build on that record. If you already use an accounting package, the ERP can pass financial entries to it. The aim is that no one retypes information a customer or colleague has already entered.
