Timeline Digital is a custom software development company founded in 2013 and headquartered in Islamabad. We build production, dispatch, supplier portal and ERP systems for Haripur manufacturers and suppliers, delivered remotely from our Islamabad headquarters. Before you commit to the full project, we build 2 to 3 of your key modules as a free pilot for your team to test.

Why businesses in Haripur build custom software

Haripur is in the Hazara division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, between Islamabad and Abbottabad, and the Hattar industrial estate lies within the district. This page is written for manufacturers and the firms that supply them. A production unit needs to plan batches, issue raw material and record output by shift. A supplier needs to receive purchase orders, keep vendor documents current and show what was delivered and when. Dispatch teams need gate passes and delivery notes that match the invoice. When these records live in separate sheets and email threads, a custom ERP brings them into one system with approvals, audit history and reports.

Software we build for Haripur businesses

Production planning and shift output ERP

A production module turns orders into batches or work orders, issues raw material against each one, and records output, rejects and downtime by shift and machine. Managers see what is running, what is late and the material each batch used. Supervisors can enter output from a tablet on the floor, and the figures flow straight into stock and costing.

Supplier portal for purchase orders and vendor documents

If you supply larger factories, a portal keeps each purchase order, delivery schedule and invoice in one place. Vendor documents such as registration certificates, tax papers and test reports are stored with expiry dates, with reminders before any lapse. The same portal can work the other way, letting your own suppliers upload quotations and documents against your requests.

Dispatch, gate pass and delivery tracking

Dispatch staff create a gate pass and delivery note from the sales order, with vehicle, driver and quantities, and finished stock reduces at the same moment. Weighbridge readings can be captured where you use one. Accounts sees what has left the gate and raises an FBR-ready invoice where required, so dispatch and billing no longer disagree.

Shift attendance and payroll for factory staff

A payroll module records shift attendance, overtime, advances and deductions for permanent and contract workers, and calculates wages without spreadsheet formulas. It can read data from biometric attendance machines where they are installed. Supervisors approve overtime inside the system, and each change is kept in the audit history for later checks by management.

Why work with Timeline Digital from Haripur

An ERP shaped around your production flow

Factories rarely fit a standard ERP template. We map your actual route, from purchase request to batch, dispatch and payment, and build the screens and approvals around it, including the exceptions your team handles every week.

Hardware on the floor, not only in the office

We can connect barcode scanners, label printers and weighbridge readings, so data enters the system where material moves, rather than being typed up later from paper slips.

Between Islamabad and Abbottabad, delivered remotely

Haripur lies between Islamabad and Abbottabad, near our headquarters, so an on-site visit to walk the production floor or train supervisors is easier to arrange when it is agreed in the contract. Day-to-day work runs remotely through video calls, screen sharing and WhatsApp.

Clear records when a customer checks

Where your customers review their suppliers, role-based access and a full audit history show who created, approved or changed each order, batch and document. Reports can be exported for a customer review without rebuilding them in Excel.

  • Headquarters and only office: G-11 Markaz, Islamabad; Haripur served remotely
  • 2 to 3 key modules piloted free of charge before you commit
  • Barcode and weighbridge integration where relevant
  • Urdu labels for supervisors and store staff

What a custom system could do for Haripur businesses

Example workflows for common types of business. They show what a system can do; they are not client case studies.

Manufacturing unit

A manufacturing unit could plan batches from customer orders, issue raw material against each batch and record output and rejects by shift.

Supplier to factories

A supplier could track purchase orders from several factories, keep vendor documents with expiry reminders and link each delivery to its invoice.

Factory dispatch desk

A dispatch desk could raise gate passes from sales orders, capture weighbridge readings and pass each delivery to accounts for invoicing.

Frequently asked questions

We are near Hattar. Will your team be based there?

No. Everyone who works on your project is based at our G-11 Markaz office in Islamabad, the only office we have. Hattar and Haripur clients are handled online: requirement workshops over video, walkthroughs by screen share and quick questions on WhatsApp during working hours. Haripur lies close to Islamabad, so if the contract provides for a site visit, say to see the production floor, fit scanners or train supervisors, scheduling it is straightforward.

What would a Haripur manufacturer pilot before committing?

Usually the modules with the most daily paperwork, such as work orders, raw material issue and dispatch. Free of charge and before you commit to the full project, we build 2 to 3 of those key modules as working software. Your supervisors and store staff use them with real orders, and we adjust what does not fit. The full build begins only when you approve the pilot. A supplier might pilot purchase orders and vendor documents instead.

Can the ERP connect with our existing accounting software?

In most cases, yes. We can integrate the ERP with the accounting tool you already use, or export entries in the format your accountant imports, so invoices, purchases and payments are not typed twice. Where integration is not practical, the ERP can carry its own accounts module. We agree the approach in the written plan before the build, once we have seen your current setup.

Can supervisors record production without a desktop computer?

Yes. Supervisors can use a tablet or phone app built with Flutter to start a work order, record output and rejects, note downtime and issue material. If the Wi-Fi is weak in part of the building, entries are held on the device and sync when it reconnects. Screens can carry Urdu labels, and each supervisor sees only their own lines or shifts.

Can the system remind us before a vendor document expires?

Yes. Each document, such as a registration certificate, tax paper, test report or customer approval letter, is stored with its issue and expiry dates. The system lists what is due to expire and can send reminders by email or WhatsApp to the person responsible. Older versions are kept, so you can show a customer which document was valid on a given date.
