FAQ

Café questions

Can it handle drink size and milk modifiers?+

Yes. Each is its own modifier group. Tap a Latte, tap 12oz, tap Oat, tap +shot. Full ring-up under 10 seconds with practice.

Will it work on a single touchscreen at the bar?+

Yes. Designed for that. One Windows touchscreen does counter ordering, payment, receipt and reports. No second device needed.

Does it handle tips?+

Yes. After payment the tip prompt shows preset percents and a custom field. Reports → Summary breaks out tips collected per shift.

Can I print the customer name on the receipt for the barista?+

Yes. Type the name in the Notes field on the order. The receipt printer drops a slip with the name and the drink. Works for any USB ESC/POS printer.

How fast is checkout during the 8am rush?+

Sub-second response on a mid-range Windows touchscreen. We measure 6–10 second average ring-up after the first morning of practice.

Tomorrow morning, $0 in software fees.
